STEADFAST CHURCH

God is calling us to
GREATER THINGS

From the moment Steadfast began in 2003, we’ve been on mission to see Jesus transform lives through His Word, prayer, and loving relationships. Jesus is moving powerfully through His Church, His primary way of working in the world. As the Head of the Church, He’s given us the incredible privilege of joining Him in what He’s doing. We’ve seen Him do GREAT things, and we’re believing Him for even GREATER THINGS to come!

OUR VISION

Greater things to come.

In our generosity initiative, GREATER THINGS, we are believing God to do greater things, transforming lives for eternity!

What are we doing?

Praise God! He has opened the door for us to purchase and renovatea new home for our church family! We are in the early stages of designing floor plans that will create a welcoming space where people of all ages can encounter Jesus and grow together.

The renovations will happen in two phases:

Phase One
Expand our children’s and youth spaces, add classrooms, offices, a kitchen, and new auditorium
Phase Two
Gym and an additional gathering room for youth and adults

Why are we doing it?

At Steadfast, we long to see more lives transformed by Jesus! Withthe additional space, we’ll be able to equip the next generation ofyouth and adults with God’s Word to make a lasting Kingdom impact.

This new building will be a foundation for growth, expanding ourreach across the Omaha Metro area and around the world.

GREATER THINGS GOALS

Primary Goal:

100% Engagement

Our primary goal is that 100% of the people who call Steadfast their church home would fully engage in the Greater Things Initiative… all of us, all together!

Pray with us! We are asking you to faithfully pray and ask God how He would want you to engage…cheerfully honoring Him with all that He has entrusted to you!

Secondary Goal:

APRIL 2026 THRU APRIL 2028

As we are trusting the Lord for Greater Things during this timeframe, we are excited to see His provision as He guides us as a church.  During this Greater Things Initiative we will steward His provision through expanded giving as follows:

$3.5 Million

towards existing and ongoing Operating Budgets to continue healthy ministry growth and ongoing discipleship.

$11.5 Million

towards Building Purchase + Renovation of our new church home.

$15 Million over two years

HOW WE GET THERE

One Fund. One Goal.

You may be wondering if we will have separate funds for the building project and regular ministry budget? The answer to that is no; instead, we are approaching all our ministry needs (regular budget + building costs) with a one fund mind-set!

This means all of our giving through April 2028 will work together to cover two years’ worth of annual budget (2026-2028) and our building project costs.  Using just one fund allows us to think about our giving through one simple lens of our total giving to God and His mission at Steadfast. The Greater Things Initiative will take place over two years. During that time, every gift given to Steadfast will go to the Greater Things Initiative for mission advancement.

Journey of Generosity

Our call to generosity is rooted in the heart of God: His generous supplying of our material needs, His generous provision of the Holy Spirit, but most importantly in the generous provision of His Son, who died for us and has promised to come back for us. Our generosity is rooted in our understanding of who He is and what He has done. As we grow in Christ our generosity will reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father.

These steps are designed to help you see money in a way that reflects God’s generous heart. The journey focuses on the condition of our hearts further transforming us into the likeness of Christ. Each step of the journey represents growth in a lifestyle of generosity.

Initial Giver

2 Corinthians 8:10-12; Proverbs 11:25

An initial giver is someone who decides to give for the first time inresponse to the invitation in God’s Word to experience the blessednessof giving. Father, help me to grow in my understanding of what I havebeen given and accept Your invitation to become more Christ-likethrough the practical step of giving.

Consistent Giver

2 Corinthians 8:7

A consistent giver is one who decides to regularly exercise thespiritual discipline of giving. Recurring gifts are an ongoingexpression of thanks to the Lord for his provision, a means ofsupplying the needs of the Lord’s people, and an act of worshipfrom a thankful heart. Lord, am I excelling in the grace of giving?

Intentional Giver

2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Proverbs 3:9

An intentional giver reflects on howthey prioritize and spend money anddecides to commit a specificproportion of their income or wealthto the Lord. Father, do my financialpriorities reflect Your priorities? Am I bringing my first and best to You?

Surrendered Giver

Matthew 25:14-30; Colossians 1:15-20

A surrendered giver recognizes that every earthly possessioncarries a stewardship responsibility - what I have is Yours, Lord. The surrendered giver gives joyfully out of a growing recognitionof, and appreciation for, the life and freedom received throughChrist’s ultimate surrender. Father, where are You inviting me topartner with You more fully in Your day-to-day work? Am I beingfaithful with what you’ve entrusted to me?

Eternal Giver

I Timothy 6:6-19

An eternal giver is ultimatelydriven by the things of eternity, setting their eyes and hope fullyon God and not on the things ofthis earth. Where, Lord, do Youwant me to be giving / investingmy resources for maximumeternal impact?
